Dad says they are putting beige carpet back.🤪😒🙄🤐
When the realtor told them take the blue down I'm pretty sure he didn't mean replace it with new. Dad says it's already bought and that is what is going back. 🤣
thats a pretty interesting ceiling

Circa 5pm this evening.

Me: sweetie I’m gonna swap out the thermostat on the Toyota I think it’s been sticking.
Wife: how long will this take so we can go eat?
Me: should be 15 minutes tops.

Said fuck it and went to eat anyway. I’ll deal with it tomorrow.

Was out in the shop straightening up some today (but not so much @RatLabGuy would object 😃) and decided to mess with a project I’ve been putting off.

My neighbor from the old house gave me his Makita DCS520i chainsaw about 2 years ago. It is a rebranded Dolmar from Germany sold through Makita. It hadn’t been run in a long time and the chain was sharpened/worn til the cutters were like 1/8” 😆

It is really clean though for a 20 something year old saw. The bar doesn’t even have lip or any other wear, it’s the original. I have yet to find a carb kit but I figured out it’s a 3/8 .050 chain with 64 drive links. Not going to order a chain until I get it to run.

I plan to get it running and cutting well and give it back to him.

Daughter is on an 80s kick, so figured she needed to see some historical figures
