I think it works better if the Press is pressing on it.
Must be a tight interference if you got the blue wrench out.

We finally got it off. There was no way to press on it the way the wheel and all was in the way. Finally unbolted the wheel and pressed on the shaft.

I do when I can, but this one had a bunch of dirt and rocks kind of piled up around it. And a damn bird feeder rod in the ground that has roots grown around it.

Ground on it for about 2 hours today, but didn't get to finish. Probably another couple hours left on it. The cleanup adds a lot of time though.

This just arrived from Texas for my dads backhoe. Shipping was more than he paid for the whole assembly and it was still cheaper than buying a new spindle and steering arm. He’s pumped.

@RatLabGuy I'm really glad someone like you is doing this exchange program. Not some pent up beltway liberal elitist. That kid will get the right impression of 'Merica and make memories that will last a lifetime.

For the record, car soccer is everything that you would hope it would be. Apparently this was just kind of randomly started up by a bunch of the local Derby guys, this is when the first time they've done it and they're still trying to figure out the strategy.

They tends to get sort of bunched up with the ball between cars, but they figured out if a third or fourth person gets behind the bunch they can just push the whole herd across the line LOL
