Leslie and I found a like new pop up camper yesterday. Went to Clover SC looked at it and bought it. It was what we were looking for. 8' box, two double beds. Stove, sink, AC and Heat.
It has a privacy room that attachés to the awning also. We will have to rethink what we take because storage is minimal.
We brought it home, set it up and at the moment it has bee raining hard. I went out to check it for leaks....NONE!
we will need a generator, and a port a potty, and find us some 5 gallon water containers(no holding tank or pump) It's different that what we are used to, but I think we can live with it.

Lookin good! A step down from the Hillbilly Hilton :) but now you have a nice place to stay and better towing capabilities!
 
It's a 1995, judging by the condition of everything, I doubt it has been used much at all. It had never been cooked inside, they always cooked outside. I thought it was funny that it's a Coleman camper, and has a wedge wood stove in it!

True John, it won't be as friendly as the HbH, but it has it's good points too. I will miss the shower, toilet, water tanks, Hot Water heater, but AC is a big plus, as well as being able to tow and haul with the hauler and pull this thing. I think it's 1350 pounds so should pull with ease.
 
looks good chip,i got that slide in(truck camper)know heather doesn't have to sleep in tent lol.
 
Looks great Chip. Soo much better than a tent. You will probably not even know you are towing it :beer:
