No the tailgate doesn't lift. I didn't see a reason for it to, since the rear seat still folds...

That's a vehicle I'd see going down the road and wonder what the hell it is....I like it!

People ask if it's a Hummer more than anything...Deff. different.

Hummer eh? Mmm guess the color and general shape lends to the military Hummers. I can kinda see that. Different is definitely good. Looks awesome.
