It looks like May 22nd is going to be our next official light trail work day. As the date gets a little bit closer and as I get details from Terry I will post up more information.
I was thinking about the short discussion we had about stickers at the last work day, and it gave me an idea. Sort of as a bonus/extra for those that attend the work days I figured we could offer these:
These would be only for those that participate in one or more of the Trail Work Days. The people that participated in the March work day are all ready eligible to get one of these. For those that would like one it would be $3.99 just to cover the cost of the sticker ($2.99) plus shipping ($1.00). They used to read "NC4X4" but due to issues beyond my control instead they will be numbered similar to normal passes.
I think this could be a cool incentive/reward for those that put their time/effort into helping on the trail work days.
Also the idea about having a trail adopted by NC4X4 will be put on hold. I will still be keeping up with Terry about the status of Falls Dam, but the idea we discussed during the work day will have to wait.
