Nissan Titan XD

That makes more sense, because strait body to strait body isn't going to do much except smaller mirrors. lol
No joke! My dad has a crewcab F150, and my F250 is waaay easier to park, back a trailer, and move through traffic because the stock F150 mirrors SUCK!

That's everything nowadays. Hook up a trailer to a late model F350 and watch what happens.

It must be a Ford thing @BRUISER because my Chevy is bone stock and it doesn't fag-sag either... Excuse the poser pics but it's all I have showing it towing the 'burb back from Cali.

IIRC, the OP has an SRW 3500 Mega Cab on like 35s or something. I also don't see anywhere that he said he had or was going to get rid of it, but I could be wrong about that!

Sorry guys I've been busy. Ron and Shawn can't run me off. Well I guess they could but harmless banter doesn't bother me.

I currently have a SRW 3500 Mega Cab on 37's. It has had a few issues over the years but nothing major. The straw that broke my back is I took it in for a recall and they re flashed the truck and it now gets 2MPG less than it did before and idles rough enough to make me sick almost. I've had it to two different dealers and they can't figure it out. My roll has also changed at my company and I'm doing a bit more traveling. I also have to drive customers around so i can't be driving a beater.

My options where to drop a bunch of coin on my current truck by deleting all the emissions, changing out the lift to a better riding leveling kit and then just taking care of a few other little things that bother me with the truck. In the end I'm still driving a 1 ton pickup that has no warranty and is a pain to maneuver around small parking lots and the city. I've also had customers tell me the truck is a little intimidating, not what they expect a SR. Ops manager to be driving.

I looked at possibly going back to a Ram 2500 crew cab which I had before the Mega Cab but I would want a new one and to get the same level of truck I currently have I would be looking at a 60K truck. I went and drove the Nissan and actually really liked. It has pluses and minuses when I compare it to my Ram but for me right now it just fits my lifestyle and needs. Once I'm out of a HOA and have a big shop and property I will get another designated tow rig. I already have 4 vehicles, Jet Skis, car trailer, and a fishing boat that spend time at my house. On top of my own stuff I usually have something I'm working on for someone here too.

As for the Titan's availability to tow I was very impressed. My boat and trailer are right around 11,500 and it towed it fine. It will need air bags but so did my Ram. I wish it had an exhaust brake but besides that I never felt I needed more power. The fact we are keeping the boat at the coast now means I only need to bring it home on occasion and the Titan will tow my Jeeps around just fine.

I don't think its terrible looking besides the stupid pin strip and running boards that will be coming off as soon as I bring it home. I also wish they didn't have the badge on the fender.

It isn't my Ram though.

Did you ditch the Dodge? I would have tuned it, dropped it down, and kept on keeping on.

Personally, if I never own a vehicle new enough that needs to go to a dealership for anything, I'd be just fine with it. Warranties are overrated too. :flipoff2:

I have never had a vehicle new enough for a warranty either, but the few recalls i have had to get done have been a huge pain in the ass.

I've only ever had two recalls, both were on my 99 Silverado in like 2007 or 2008. Tailgate cables and parking brake shoes, since it's a 5 speed. Simple, easy, and painless process for me l(uckily)...so no complaints.

I modify or change everything, so if I had a warranty, it'd be voided in short order.
