5th Annual Veterans Ride at Uwharrie National forest. Wow, can't believe its been five years already.
Dates. Nov 5th thru Nov 8th, main event on Saturday the 7th. Event held at the Uwharrie Offroad Training center.

Event fees, Including Camping and Event are Absolutely Free!!!!! ( if you choose to wheel.the URE ohv trail system trail passes are required)

Come join us in celebrating the lives and honoring the sacrifices of the men and women who served and are still serving today.

Camping will open at 0900 on Thursday Nov 5th. Main event on Sat the 7th.

Big welcome back to 4 Wheel to Heal charity this year!! We look forward to sharing a great weekend with them and welcoming the veterans they bring as guest!

The Carolina Trail Blazers will be holding there monthly ride in the Uwharrie OHV trail System on sat. If you would like to join them they will meet at the Eldarado Outpost at 0900am.

We will kick off the main event at 2pm with a great supper from Boy Scout pack 509 from Farmer Nc. Chili and Taters again this year!!

Raffle will start at 3.30pm. Thank you to Carolina Metal Masters for once again organizing the raffle for us this year. Thank you to all the donating sponsors. Personal donations to the raffle are also much appreciated!

Something special this year!!!
This year we have the opportunity to build a memorial that each one of us can take part of called The Veterans Memorial Rock Garden.
The memorial will be built at the base of the cross at the training center. Everyone is invited to decorate a stone in (6" - 2ft). You can use paint, etching, carving etc. Each memorial stone can be to a veteran who is no longer with us or still serving today, or to all veterans in general. You can place the stone any time on Saturday and we will dedicate the memorial at dusk.

If you would like some guidance or assistance the Carolina Trail Blazers are having there monthly ride that sat and will meet at the outpost across the street at 9am. They will be more than happy to take any wheeler out for the day and assist you.

If you or any veteran needs any assistance or has special needs please let me know. There will be plenty of open seats and accommodations can be made to fit any veteran.

There will be many there ready to offer an a open seat and a helping hand in any way they can!

Man yeah looks like this year is going to be bigger and better than last year (if that's possible). Don't forget to get your rocks ready for the new garden. The best part of this ride is seeing all the vets come out for a great cause and get to swap stories of years past. A little early but as alway a big THANK YOU to all who served.
 
Looking forward to coming again this year. Only difference is this year I will be jeepless. Will need to ask for a ride-a-long.
 
I am goimg to come down for support no jeep this yr so mite need a ride for trails
