"Old school wheeling"

Same trip. Ahhh, these are my favorites:

I think that is electrical conduit holding the Jeep grill/radiator in place.

I hate that dude moved away.....He went to Tellico with us in 02' with his 03' rubi . Got a lift and 33 swampers the week he bought it..beat the shit out of it at Tellico (ran everything) and drove it home. "Rockshow" was his webwheeling name. A class act.

Ohhh. Danny you'r gona get it.
I know my junk looked like it had been digested by a T-rex, then hit by a train, but that hit below the belt.

By the way when you going to be on the trail.
You have got to have your junk engineered
by now.

Oh how you coming on your junkyard for retirement.
You have got 8 junkers, right.
Your momma didn't raise you like that.

REDNECK!

I remember seeing you guys (mud devils) at tellico ago during the Full-size jeep thing (the time Chad got in a wreck towing his waggy). I was running 33's and thought I was cool... Wait a minute, I am still running 33's on that truck, but have realized that I am far from cool. some of those pics look like that trip.

Because of the picture right below it, the busted dana 30... We weren't able to get the jeep up high enough with the hi-lifts to fix the knuckle, so this was the best we could come up with at the time. winch cable from one vehicle to the tree, snatch block, then from the tree to the busted CJ. It worked, but I don't recommend it. This picture was taken at the left turn going up School Bus.

why are you hooking a winch up to a tree at that height??

I've done that before to lift the rig up on it's side a little to work on it (change a birf, etc). I trust the brake on the 8274 more than a hi-lift, and don't even carry one anymore.

For those who haven't heard of it.. carry a motorcycle ratchet strap with you, and before you lift the vehicle, wrap that strap around your frame and axle. That way, it only have to go up a few inches instead of twisting up the suspension first.

Here are some pics from Moab 1995...

This is the extent of the damage. Just had to wait for the pipe to cool before we bent it back.
