Did anyone see then working on the 79 Bronco?
The lift kit they put on it had new coils for the front, but BLOCKS for the back!
Damn, those guys should know better...

Kind of ruined the show for me..

Pete

I believe they said it was a 4" lift...
He said if they went any higher, they would have to worry about driveline angles and shaft lengths..
Thats why they only went with the 4".
I was thinking AAL's too... They did say they were trying ot NOT spend a lot of $$$ on the truck, but then again, they put 36's or 37's Swampers under it.... Not exactly the cheapest way to go....
What about those of us that usually end up with used tires under our rigs because the family life eats up our playtime budget?
Just a few thoughts

Pete

anyone see when they put the dana 30 knuckles on the currie axle.

i thought they said the truck would hardly ever see the trail just mostly street. if not then why not run blocks if its a pavement pounder?

yeah they were upgrading the axles on the yj. Spend all that money on the rockjock then put dana 30 knuckles on it? I mean Im no expert but when you drop that kind of change on an axle swapping your stock 30 knuckles just seems kinda like an oxymoron. I mean if your trying to save money. Alot of the things they do on shows like that make me wonder.

Crazy Horse and Copperhead...basically projects back in the day of Stacy David are my favorites. Kinda gotten lame lately.

I want to see a Toyota version of the "cheap jeep" done at some point.
