This is crazy...although sitting here thinking about it...would probably be the most incredible thing any person could do. being on another planet...I know Mars isn't exactly that in habitable, but I think it could work....although I doubt it would really happen that soon and not sure how they would get back to earth....pretty interesting though.

Rachael's brother has already applied. He's single, in good physical condition, pretty smart (degree in math) and has a healthy social detachment disorder. We love him but he'd be perfect for it. I'd proudly support him in it.
Folks at NASA have been wanting to push the "one ay trip" idea for a long time, but the ethical hurdles of it are too much for a government agency to officially sponsor... perfect for a private venture.
