Panty Soaker 5000 - C3 Stingray LS Swap Blower Build

It'll bleed quite well without unhooking anything, but there is a final "ahh haa" when you get that last little bit of air out! Just gotta make sure to tie up the actual return line from the reservoir so it doesn't leak all over everywhere. Works really well and is super easy! I was kinda dreading bleeding out the hydroboost/hydro assist/new pump/new steering box on my 2500HD, but it was surprisingly quick and pain free.

Just so we're clear, fittings pointing upwards = the "right" way.
Fittings pointing down = "bad"

@Croatan_Kid already showed the pics for you
Stock configuration from factory on these bosch pumps is fittings UP
I dont believe anyone here said flipping it so the fittings point down is "bad"

Buying these rebuilt pumps from vendors like Hydratech, who make custom mount plates for corvettes, camaros, mustangs etc - will typically mount them "flipped" so the fittings point down for aesthetic purposes

If I scrounged the junkyards for a year I may be able to find an older pump that existed before the accumulator was added. Then I could mount it fittings down - but those pumps are not as efficient and people state they notice quite the difference.

Me mounting it up like this will be exactly as how the bosch pump previously lived its life on a cucv truck, or some scooby van, etc

Got more heat preventative work done. Turbos going back in final tomorrow

Got trans slave gapped and trans mounted to engine

Rigged up my own tool with a piece of flat bar and long bolts + 4in spacers

It was such a new young tight fit getting the shaft into the pilot bearing, I had to install with the slave depressed with the pin in place. The slave pressure on the clutch fingers was enough of a variable in the struggle to piss me off. Fished it out with a hook afterwards

Gunna have to make a different bracket for the t4 flange. Too fragile I think. Or may just lob a lot of weld and send it

Very tempting

Here's a couple other options:
