not to worry Bruce and Corey... we'll start off easy and work our way up.
I agree w/ Steve, I hope to keep the NC Jeeperz group together too. Ya'll are a great bunch. I mean I send out one ping on this site and I think almost everyone has responded. Even Zac and Ray and I haven't heard anything out of them for awhile. Sorry some of you can't make it Sunday but lets keep this chat alive and plan the next event soon. I'm still up for a trip to Tellico I just need advance notice so I can get off work and save some money for gas. And lets not forget the 3rd anual Jeeperz GTG. I have never been to the Devils Playground or Callaentae(?). Throw some dates and places out there and lets see what happens.
We do need to set a date for the 3rd Annual Jeeperz run. I would be down for a Tellico run if I have enough notice to save for gas but then after my up coming trip to Fla I don't think I or Lorie have any vacation days left to use.
One of the reasons I like URE is it is kind of a central location but getting old.
Well for the GTG, for us August (hot hot hot) and September are all clear. Hopefully July 11-13 we will be in Snowshoe for the Jeep Jamboree. October 10-12 we will be in Tellico for the Jeep Jamboree on a free pass (smart to buy raffle tickets). The Club will be going to Tellico on October 31-November 2 and we are planing a trip to Callaentae date is not set yet. If I can find the money for all the Gas we will be in good shape.
Wanna know what fun I had last night? My AC went out about midnight.....!!! Wanna talk about sticking to the sheets.....Yeah buddy. Now I have to spend about 3 - 5k on Saturday.....PARTY ON!
Bruce, welcome to the club! I have not had any AC this year. Decided to get rid of the oil furnace and the 1000 tank and put in a 5 ton heat pump. I can't wait til next Wed to have some AC. Heat is brutal!
I know it.......I remember as a kid not having anything...baseboard boiler heat! and no AC.....Oh no....not anymore...I need the Air!!! It is brutal...and it is only Jun 5th...gonna be a long Hot summer
Nice thing about living in a brand new apt complex my AC is great but the Jeep I might as well jst have the windows down...oh thats what I have been doing. The shops AC does not seem to keep up with the demand set on 73 and it is 78 in my bay.
I will take 78 degrees and low humidity in my shop any day. Hell for the house too! Sounds like all my employees whining about it being 78 in our plant. I wish I could send them to the FL plant I was at before. 100 degrees was the norm! I figure it was at least 90 + degrees this evening in my shop I just point the fan at me and deal with it, thankful I have a shop to sweat in
Bruce the new shop is nice I stuck myself in the back corner but now have 2 bays and room between them but when some of the guys don't use a exhaust hose on a running vehicle the CO detector turns the roof fans on and the cool air goes out the roof or they leave the doors open once the air blows out it never cools down enough.
Darn Jonathan, I was hoping to see that Nissan in action. Maybe another time.
Are you still gonna make it Bruce w/ your AC going out? We had to replace our AC about 2 years ago and then our water heater gave out this past winter. It really sucks when things start to get about 10 years old. If it's not one thing, it's another...
We are all aware that the site being down has been incredibly frustrating. In our effort to enable this site to serve visitors better, we've run into a few snags.
While we continue our work, we would like to hear about events you have planned that require immediate posting. We are glad to announce that we now can post these events on the home page of the site!
Rest assured that we are completely focused on taking the steps to make this site a better experience for years to come. Again, we apologize for the delay.

I can't wait until tomorrow guys. It has been a month since I have seen a trail and I can't wait! I might have to jump in the lake to cool off before the day is done though. It is going to be blistering hot out there!
yes it is supposed to be a hot one. i think we are going to load a case of water and some ice in a cooler and hand them out compliments of the Mountain Market. my wife and I will be at the Mountain Market between 9:30-10am and I hope to see you all there before we get on the trails! hell i might even buy a round of sausage biscuits or something if you're lucky!
btw, for anyone that doesn't know me - i'll be the red headed guy with a Mtn Mkt shirt on in the Jeep to the left of this message
