Guys, the Porsche was nice, but the 2nd gear synchro was going out, and the clutch was gone. Estimates ranged from $7500 to $10,000 to do the repairs. The car was nice, but it was way too expensive for me to keep.

I was always worried that someone would scratch it, or I would bust a rim on the bad SC roads. I don't have to worry about anything short of the Apocalypse with my H1...

The Hummer is going to do dual duty. It will serve as a tow rig for the boat, and as a play toy for the Outer Banks. I wanted something that I could drive to the beach, air down and play, and then drive back home. This thing is beastly off-road, and comfortably cruises at 70MPH all day. (This I know because I drove it all the way home from Dallas, Texas while towing my GMC Acadia on a trailer: 1100 miles...)

That Porshe is my Dream car. I would have let my Excursion go for something like that but its nothing near the same in value to anyone else but me. I am getting buried in my truck when Im dead

Converted to gas huh? I have never seen/heard of that being done. What kind of mileage is it getting? How "peppy" does it feel?

There was no conversion...some of the H1 came with gas engines
