pull-a-part in charlotte

Made it through the pap today unscathed. Couldn't find everything I was looking for though. The 99 XJ there still has complete front and rear axles under it. 30&8.25

that thing got robbed. i was there the day after it was put on the lot. the front clip is usually the first to go. i was surprised the 8.25 was still under it. i ripped off the doors, they matched my jeep color. i never had any problems there, the only tool ive been asked to borrow was a ratchet, so i usually carry a shitty one. i guess no one really pays me attention cuz i look like a stoner under a car/jeep(damn long hair). ive not been alone but me n my buddy do usually have a wheel barrel full of tools in thier boxes.

can u say paranoid! WOW, u showed your gun to someone because they said whats up, hate to see what would happen if he said excuse me. Never had an issue 1 there and have been going since it opened. Sounds like some on here r looking for trouble, guns seem to give people who normally r cowards some balls. Whatever floats your boat.

Arm chair quarterback much? Look, you weren't there and neither was I, but the guy clearly felt like he was being menaced, so he took action. There is nothing wrong with that. I bet you've never seen the bank you go to robbed while you were there either, so clearly banks never get robbed, right?

Made it out alive again. Ran into a Crip and put a cap in his azz. It's a great day to be a Blood.

point taken, I just think a gun to go to the junkyard is overkill. If I thought I needed a gun to go somewhere I would'nt go.

When I carry a gun,
I don't do so because I am looking
for a fight, but because I'm
looking to be left alone.* The gun
at my side means that I cannot be
forced; only persuaded.* I don't
carry it because I'm afraid, but
because it enables me to be
unafraid.* It doesn't limit the
actions of those who would
interact with me through reason,
only the actions of those who
would do so by force.* It removes
force from the equation.

yup, dude was clearly up to no good and I just circumvented the issue before it escalated. anyone that goes out of his way to get between you and your vehicle while youre clearly incumbered with a heavy load, in order to confront you is not trying to sell girl scout cookies. the 'sup' was not in the tone of 'good morning my good man, how are you today'. if he wanted to chat, he could have done that from 20' away. being a victim is in fact partially a choice

I had a similar situation today.I was running low on gas, well actually my wife brought the truck home with absolutely no gas in it.By the time I checked the gauge,I wasn't somewhere I wanted to be but I jumped off the Durham Freeway to get gas finding myself in a part of town I would not normally venture. It was just past dark and on my way back to the truck from paying for gas,a guy got in between me and my vehicle. He asked me for money and I dug in my pockets and brought my hands out, open palm like"I don't have any".What I did have was my Knife in my right hand, the guy turned and immediately walked away.It may or may not have been an issue, but better to be prepared.I don't have my CCW yet,but when I do,I will carry every where I am legally permitted to.

I think I have seen the guy with dreads there before ,he was usually tryin to sell jewelry or something.
I have seen another guy there wantin $5 to buy a starter,he must have a lot of starter trouble cause he did the same thing a couple of weeks later.
I don't go on Saturday anymore because I am off on Monday now ,Its a lot calmer there on Monday Morn.
