Hey,

I am new to this site and I drive a 1993 Nissan Hardbody 4x4 that is unmodified. My question is I would like to go to the Uwharrie trip but, will my truck survive? Is it trail ready in stock form?

Also

1. Are we really going to camp?

2. What to bring?

3. Are there beginner trails or do I just sit and watch on the real stuff?

Sorry for all the questions but, I've never done anything of this sort and I really want to.

We take my wife's bone stock Grand Cherokee through there from time to time...you'll be fine. Take CYJKRAWLER's advice though...because he's "elder" than I...

I was gonna suggest you look at www.cnc4x4.org and
www.carolina-trailblazers.org

check out there calendars and see when they will be there. I am sure either club would love for you to tag along and they can help if you get hung up on some rocks, etc while wheeling..

as for your questions..

1. Are we really going to camp?
Yes they have primitive camping.. and they have camp grounds with showers, etc.. ( arrrowhead camp grounds )

2. What to bring?
Here is a good link on items to bring
http://www.cnc4x4.org/mini_equipment.asp

3. Are there beginner trails or do I just sit and watch on the real stuff?
Yes most of the trails are for beginners with a few hard lines
that is why I suggested goign with a group your first time just incase you end up needing help
