This isn't a very good follow up to the most recent random pics...but this guy took a ride on my hood yesterday afternoon. Biggest grasshopper I've ever seen. Had to be at least 2" long. Surprisingly, he stayed on up to about 50 mph before he jumped off at a stop light.

I'm trying hard to get it on the water. I can see the river from work... I did try blowing around on the unhooked trailer but I don't like things with out brakes.

Does it have a Teflon sheet on the bottom! All you need is a grassy area.
