Looks like a goooooood place to do some huntin! 
I saw something similar years ago 2 trees about 25' apart, one had a branch/double trunk that went from the ground up at 45 degrees and had grown into the other tree about 25' up it's trunk. All were straight and It formed a perfect N symbol.

Yeah I've got a ton of pictures of weird tree anomolies from over the years. This place in particular, it's like nothing dies. Trees fall into a pool of water and the trunk becomes a root system that doesn't ecen need to touch ground

yeah, have to wonder if it covers 2 decades worth of models.
