Sent on a trip, to where I hadn't been in nearly 20 years. Not much has changed, other than 1 new connector road & a Huge subdivision. I had forgotten this Distribution place, which was being built back then. Excuse the trees.

Looks Like the Mill to me. Been living there for 24 yrs, grown wayyy too much like everything else

Do they have an opening date yet?
I forgot to ask. They were running pressure tests on the vats today. All the furniture is there and installed. Painting is done. I'd say by first of next month, it should be wide open. Oh, speaking of painting... This place is floor to ceiling with coolness. I didn't even get a chance to take the elevator to the second floor.

Yea I will be going there when they open. I found and article that said 3 weeks after they start brewing. Hopefully they have an experienced brewer. The place in Sumter is awesome.

Looks like a small fortune in artwork between the paintings and metalwork. Cool place though.

I sense some confidence in the way some of the employees of the place carry themselves. I also got to chat with the TIG master welder guy for a while. The company he works for (or owns) only does breweries. He made a point several times in our conversation to accredit the time and expense put into just the tubing/piping he was getting paid to put in. Supposedly the kitchen is exquisite. So that tells me that either they have some killer brews or killer food or both. Hell, they bought the historic Brookland/Cayce Fire starion (circa 1930's) out right just to build a two story bar and dining area with an elevator. That's walking distance from the river. They ain't playing, from what I noticed.

Loaded up the family and headed for the hills last night. There was a little dusting around 11.

Also it was little man's first time in the snow. He seemed to like it. But his favorite part was looking at me through the window while I threw snowballs at him
