Random pic thread.

Just for fun, here are some more of my old Tonka vehicles and another Stomper, on my He-Man TV tray! I had a big all metal Tonka road scraper and a big all metal Tonka truck. Not sure if they are at my parents or long gone. But that tire on the TV tray is the spare tire to the Tonka truck.

Bought another dump truck.View attachment 337953
No pics yet, but my Boss just picked up a new Peterbilt, that was sitting on their lot. If you order one, I think it's a year wait. He's partnering with a cousin, on a new contract, so he needed another truck. I get to stay in the Sterling I like!

Any ideas as to what these are from? Ran across them in my woods. Seemed odd there were two of them so close together

That's a good looking truck, short nose Sterlings are by far the best looking dumps. This one isn't a short hood but it does have a c15 cat, 8ll and rear lockers which is all I really ever wanted.

Lets swap in a t-case and steering drive axle in the front ;)

Dump bed conversion is finally done!
Had my neighbor who is actually a good welder burn in the hitch bracketry and 2nd pass my welds.

With my custom modifications, I only had to raise the bed rails 1/2" off the frame compared to the 4-6" the kit instructions recommended. Looks pretty good to me.

Shameless plug. A buddy of mine has built a top notch mobile dustless blasting rig if anyone in the central/eastern nc has anything big they need blasted on site. He also does blasting at his shop for those that don't want to pay for him to come to them. He's not on this site so if anyone is interested pm me and I will put you in contact.

I looked those systems up thinking I wanted to start my own thing. Unless he put it together himself they sell trailers complete ready to go. Have you or anyone on here used that dustless blasting system?

He built it himself. He is super anal about stuff and is also incredibly talented. He looked at a bunch of complete units and decided he could build one as good or better for cheaper so he did. I haven't personally used it, but he's been doing it for a year or two now. He does a lot of restoration work and diesel swaps. He's doing frame off restoration and a cummins swap on a kaiser m715 right now

Wife said her F150 had a weird noise when the blower was on and there was always heat coming through the vents. Even with the fan and HVAC off
Found the lever on the recirc door broken off and spinning in the fan wheel. Not gonna pull the dash to fix. A well placed 2" deck screw wedged the door shut (no more constant flow of fresh air through the vents).
