My M-I-L passed 3 weeks ago. I wanted to do something special for Renee. Renee has always been into music. The family picked her mom's favorite hymns for the funeral service. I found prints of them online, and got them framed. Early Valentine's present, but not really. Points earned. :)

Yeah we’ve been together ...nearly 2/3rds of our life at this point but married not quite half.
Wouldn’t be surprised if we have 50 more anniversaries or if this is our last one, to be honest

My ole man and stepmom decided to sell their place in Thomasville and head to the coast (New Bern). Went by their house this weekend to get a few things, and this one is pretty special to me. Got it hung up yesterday in a place I will see it everyday. It's motivation for me - I aspire to be as successful in business as this man right here.

This is my grandad and a letter he got to his dealership back in '71. He was 48 at the time. Unfortunately, I never got to meet him. He died in July '86 and I was born in October. From everything I've heard about this man, I'm probably most like him than anybody else in my family on both my mom's or dad's side. I think my love for cars, family, helping ppl, dapperness and success to date came from his genes.

This piece of history and family heirloom is priceless to me.

Actually something highly respectable but pushed out of style by grunge, slop, and over all being happy at average. Honestly something I suck at. Shirt all hung out, barely shave, and dirty ol work clothes.

A whole thread could go towards this topic and the related social ripples created within.
