If it fits it ships

Walking around the hood today, & started tracking a black tire mark. Figured it was a flat. Don't know why they passed the first parking lot, but drove into the Brand new asphalt lot of the Library. By then it was shredding any plastic on the undercarriage. Made a wide sweeping swing around the lot, & parked perfectly in the last spot, headed out. Easy for a tow truck to get. Drove it at least 500 ft. Maybe the Librarian? Err, wasn't a flat. Separated from the lower control arm.

Fixing my brother in laws camper. Off with the old and on with the new.

FYI there is a sticker on new rv bumpers that states not to hang anything from it, this is the result of attaching a sweet rack your brother in law built you to haul your bikes and grills on and just so happened to tell you it would rip off that flimsy bumper

They are only supposed to be used to house the sewer hose and at most have a very small gas grill mounted to them. Built the new one out of 4x4 3/16 wall and ran the mounts 3' up the frame.

Our cat earned his stripes today. He found these two mfrs about 10 feet from my wife in some ivy while she was trimming some azaleas. Not 10-15 minutes earlier my wife was about 2 ft from them. Both laid up together, I'm guessing mating so we may have done the Lord's work there. The one got a 9mm to the belly, dragged it out to chop its head off and looked up in there and saw the other. Got-o-mighty I hate these things!!!

They were both in this ivy where the shovel head is.

Seems to be a lot of copperheads this spring. Luckily I've seen none on my property in the 10 years of being there.
I've seen a good bit of blake snakes but these are the first copperheads I've seen. I went to go let my next door neighbor know and his reply was "oh yea...I killed one this morning too!" o_O

I agree, there seems to be a lot more of them around this year. Neighbor a few doors down killed this one about three weeks ago.

I killed this one 2 years ago after it bit Jack, my JRT. He was fine after some Benadryl and Prednisone but the snake had to pay the price. He was beautiful...I left his body on my box blade as a warning to his kin. It must have worked as I have never seen another one here though the cats bring up other snakes regularly.

A few years ago, at my parents, there was a huge spike in the population in that area. We killed maybe a dozen or so in a 2 month period. Since then there's only been one or two spotted.

While I was out mowing yesterday, I had a 4' black snake scare the crap outta me but I let him go on his way. He was probably just going after the lizards that like to live around the foundation of the house.

I had that fun 3 years ago. Had an ivy patch with some trees in the middle just like yours. I cut the trees down, ground the stumps, sprayed the ivy…no problem. Couple weeks later, I go to town with the tiller…start seeing movement exiting the ivy…apparently i got into a den of copperheads. Not sure if they recently moved in after getting rid of the trees or if I just got lucky a couple weeks earlier. But if you picture a dude with a chainsaw in zombie movies…that was me, but with a tiller and copperheads. I promptly went and got the first couple ‘omg look at this big black snake’ I saw on Facebook and re-released them to my yard. Haven’t seen a copperhead since.
