Damn homie! Two upsides: be glad you didn’t have expensive ink there, and it might leave a bad ass scar you can lie about.
I was actually setting aside some moolah to fund some ink. I think I'll just spend that on Jeep parts now 😂

Upon further investigation, yes it's gonna be a scar.

If anybody asks, I got jumped by a flock of really mean Canadian geese.

Pansy....

This is what sandblasting your own arm looks like. Yep, this is me. Today at 2pm. Long story. View attachment 346094
While I have not sand blasted myself, I was pressure washing my driveway a few years ago barefooted...

...and blew off the skin down to the “white meat” on my big toe.

Took months to heal up and stop cracking open.

God Speed, that looks like it hurts.

Just curious, but what kind of talent did that take for future reference?

That’s going to sting for a bit. Silvadene cream if you can find it would probably help.
Filling in for our sandblaster who's on vacation.

it could be worse...... if it was a pressure washer w chemicals in the tank. I see'nt a friend get shot close to his pork and beans while loading the PW in a truck bed. The gun was in the rack and It was still pressured. A dumbass grabbed the gun handle as they picked it up and shot him in his inner thigh.Cut a hole in his jeans and injected chems. in his leg.

When I was lucid, later in the hospital (demerol) my friend Brandon who was riding with me that day came in and told me he had gotten my bike to my house and it could be fixed. I looked over at my wife and before I could say a word she said “You can fix it or buy another bike....or you can stay married”.

I’m still married.

You ride all your life but one day, eventually, all go down.

Rode street for 22 yrs before I went down. Rode pretty hard too...but never to my limits.

Found my limits at shady valley.....well..the limits of heat cycles my tires were capable of anyway  Full leathers, Alpinestars, and kangaroo gloves saved everything from road rash. But that was the first of like 8 crashes. Seems like crashes on sportbikes are like tattoos; you can't have JUST ONE. Especially if you do track days or join WERA :dumbass:

I rode VIR a few times and rode hard on the street. I seemed to literally have zero fear by the time I bought that last bike in 03. It was tuned and modded a little and put down right under 160 at the wheel which in 03 was a monster. I miss it sometimes and truth be told Angie would let me get one without a fuss now but honestly I believe it better to stay on tractors and my old Polaris. I have a grandson I have to impart all of my wisdom into 😎

Not remote at all really. About 150 yards from a paved road, 3 or 4 miles from downtown Marshall. But, it was the only TP at this place. I could hear traffic and there were some houses just down the road. We left the TP at about 7:30 and were eating breakfast in Weaverville by 8.

It was pretty private, much better than the tent camping at state parks we have done. My kids are 8 and 6 and they loved every minute of it.

I tried to put a map in but failed. The address was 200 Laurel Branch Road, Marshall NC if you want to map it.

just trying to get a gauge on how well one is going to do on the lot besides a buddies house. its about 15 minutes from Maggie Valley and Waynesville.

But we also have a motocross track built for his and our other friend kids.

People laugh when they see me use an excessive amount of ratchet straps to hold something in the truck bed or trailer that actually probably only needs a couple.
I went down on Harris Blvd during rush hour traffic after a rake fell off a landscape trailer and a guy swerved to miss it. Bike ('01 HD Sportster 1200 Custom) took it Ok I guess. I was damn glad I had all my leathers on. Aside from a scrape on my cheek (brain bucket worn that day) I was fine.

I honestly don't know anyone who hasn't gone down at least once.

My brother and I both had crotch rockets about 15 years ago. We used to ride as often as we could. I remember a piece of plywood flying off of a dump truck hauling a load of junk. That thing was spinning like a five foot frisbee heading straight for us. I couldn’t tell if it was going over us or landing short. We both dodged it, but it could have gone the other way real quick. He ended up running over it if memory serves me right.

First “bad” laydown was on a GXR 1000 on the windward side of the H3 on Oahu. Came out of the tunnel at about a buck’30 hit rain and hydroplaned. I ping pong ding dang dinged my way down the road way to a stop. Full helmet, leathers, and boots. Scared the SHIOTE out of me and after I put the bike back together it got sold. If you know the stretch I’m talking about them you know. If you don’t then :

Yep I know it and damn sure don’t want to ride a bike there with all the traffic I dealt with from Waikiki to Kahuku every day going to work.

At a former work place, they hired a 18 yo to do clean-up & help around the place. We had a pressure that was probably 4000psi. Kid cut a nasty gash on top of his foot, Threw his tennis shoe! They took him to Urgent care, & then took him home. Like, Don't come back!

Next time I’m at my mom and dads I’ll get my old icon boots and jacket and the helmet I had on out and take a pic. I laid my cbr down in gravel raising hell on 421. I’ve got a cruiser now. Although I could cross 16 from Tazewell to Marion in no time flat. That’s where I cut my teeth at.
