Random pic thread.

Damn magnum stump I had to deal with yesterday. Customer had about a 10k CTL and couldn't move it. I ground half of it out and it took him with his loader and me with my mini skid to get it out. Had a massive root ball full or red clay that added a lot of weight to it. Should have took a picture of it after we got it out.

Saw briars or black berries? Not sure. Any experts?

Multifloral rose. Typical briar. Saw briars are much worse as far as thorns are concerned.

So I sold my 14BD grill to a guy for $50 recently. Cost me nothing to build and served me well for over two years. Downside being it was very heavy. View attachment 371624
Since I can't go without a camping grill, I figured I'd build another one. Rolled .125" tread plate to a 15" diameter with a .25" thick vented bottom plate. .125" thick 1x1 stub legs in a tripod configuration. I can use practically any grate for cooking surface, but particularly a 16" round one, which I have a surplus of. Overall weight is a third of what the 14BD was. View attachment 371628

And if you notice, my initials are cut into it. So if anyone was to ever steal it, well, they'll have fun with that. 😉
Steal it? Who the hell could pic it up!

Moving an old Post Office safe that was built by DieBold in 1959. Online states it weighs about 1,000lbs. I can damn believe it. Somebody else gonna have to figure out how to move it in my house.

They posted in one of the Uwharrie pages on FB late last night asking if anyone could bring a shaft. I can't tell if they were trying to use the log and it got shit out the back or if that's just where they said f it and left.

You never know what you'll find at an estate sale if you don't go. 🤷‍♂️

Been keeping an eye out for a small crane for the front of my truckbed.

It's old and ugly, but the price was right, and everything works after a little lubing. Gonna clean it up, paint it, and then pick things up and put them down.
