That was after 3hrs last night.

Then today, we really got after it, even though it poured down rain all morning until 3pm.

Kids loved the "deer corn dispenser" the mice or chipmunks built behind the wall!

They were actually very helpful, and didn't even hit each other with crowbars!!

Priorities!

Hopefully will finish getting it down in the next week or three and can go about reassembling something similar in a better location. We basically didn't damage any of it, in spite of our best efforts :D

My man, you have a tilt deck trailer with a winch. Could have put it anywhere in 20 minutes

That is kinda what I was thinking. Or a big strap, skidsteer, and long forks.

My grandfather took out an ad in the New York Times “Delorean $1,000 above dealer cost to your door” and became the largest dealer of those things for 2 years straight. Never saw one in person but had a direct line to John
I've been told my aunt was his personal secretary.

If anybody needs any electricity, framming, or remoleding, this is your guy.

Anywhere...else. but to move it 70ft down the hill to where we want it would require a helicopter, and I dont yet have a helicopter.

I've been pushing for that for 4 years, but honestly it probably would have ended badly. There's a grove of 50+ year old maples and oaks between where it is and where it needs to be. Or a 45degree off camber hill and then back up a 3ft tall off camber ledge.

For all you that have little kids. One day they will become teenagers and you will take more pics of your pets than your kids.
My wife sent me this one this morning of our k9.

This is the last picture I took of Lulu. Last Monday we had to put her down (she was only 5yrs old) because of seizures 😭😭😭
IMG_20220829_071511870_HDR.jpg

She has over 12 seizures in 24 hrs. And this was after trying to get the right meds and right combo unsuccessfully for 5 weeks. I'm utterly and completely destroyed and have "ugly cried" more than when I lost my grandmother 25 years ago. It's stupid how much I loved/love that dog. I don't feel like I'll ever recover

Cross training on the newest shop toy.

I ugly cried for 3 days straight over our first dachshund. No shame. I feel for all of you.

Same same, I called in to work when my little Dachshund ladie went over the bridge. Luckily we didn’t have big army things to do and my boss knew I was a “dog dad”. I stayed on the couch for a couple days snuggling my other weenies for comfort companions. Those little furry devils burrow to levels of your heart rarely matched by anything else on this planet.

There is nothing like coming home for the first time and not being greeted by your buddy. I remember when we had to put down our dog Chloe 5 years ago. I came home for lunch the next day and the silence was deafening.
