Random pic thread.

So my next assignment, is 1 load to Davidson. No, owner wants 2 loads! I come up behind this truck, & wondering How, What, & What did you tell the Boss? :)

This is a start of How my Yesterday, went! As I have been having more back problems, but working also. First, I make 1 run to Mooresville, which turned into 3 trips. Did the Big Bad Wolfe, do this? the scene is aged, but the first time I'm seeing it. Wood frame building collapsed.
Naw, Jose and Rodriguez did the framing and some young Mark or Danny was the foreman. The crew works very fast and the leaders are clueless. Or something like that..........

So, I got the first load to Davidson, by way of a cut-through road in Cornelius. Second round I run the same route, & as I turn onto Catawba Ave., I'm like Good thing because Sam Furr Road [4 lane], is backed up from I-77. I don't get but a block, then I'm stalled in traffic. Damn. Creep up & creep up, until finally I can see the Cut-through road, & Through road, Closed by Police! We All, have to turn around. It's 3 pm! I text the Boss that I probably won't make it. As I start back, I think about trying to cut across country, & come back in Huntersville, to get up Hwy 115, to Davidson. That worked, but Slow! Dumped the second load at 4 pm, & headed back a similar way, avoiding I-77, & I-485. Damn, I'm hurting!

One mile from the company yard, & Just beating a RR crossing, Again, I'm shut down by an Interesting Wreck! I venture to say, the jacked up truck, pulled out in front of the SUV, at a T intersection, which has blind approaches. Mr. Truck, was actually spun off & down a 6+' embankment! Seems the SUV, might have had a little excessive speed, too! I was only stuck there for 30 minutes. Amazing what a Good wrecker driver can do with one roll back!

Dump bed. He didn't remove the hitch before he dumped.

Back when I was in contracting the boss bought a new F450 dump. Was so proud of it. Only let me and 1 other guy drive it for the longest time. And then....he let one of his "ground maint crew" go get a load of gravel for his golf kart path around the property. Sure enough Jose (or maybe it was hose B) dumped the gravel and forgot to remove the hitch (he even welded a special receiver on the bottom of the left corner of the bed to store the hitch when using the dump) and the new truck sported this "puckered" look from then-on

Not bad! I think it had 319-ish when I dropped it off.

Ypu'll be shocked how quickly that space will get small!
We already had to make it bigger than the original plans to accommodate my truck  Hopefully it won't be much longer and there will be a much larger piece of concrete out back. And I already know it'll be too small

How much dem mofos weigh?
Not sure! Free shipping so I didn't care. I'll check the bill of lading when I get home. I'd guess 350lbs each.
