Ah yes. I remember drawing the short straw on this detail. The trick is to keep it stoked and the fire raging. You gotta keep diesel and gas on hand and continue to stir with a really long stick or pole. The turds won't burn until all the piss boils away.

Thought I'd share just in case any of you were planning on burning turds this weekend.
