Nice. We've done a several of these.
 
So we have a park we are building in China. One of our guys was over checking site and shared progress picture of site and We all found it really odd how they are constructing the floor.

They poured a concrete pad (unsure the thickness), laid out all of the conduit, plumbing and whatnot that is in the floor. Then laid block around the conduit and plumbing. Next they lay wire grid and pour more concrete for the final floor.

The government owned concrete block production facility has extra block, so you will use it. Any questions?
 
Not to stir the pot further - but a lot of those concerns raised are the same for some - many - hybrid vehicles too.
Particularly those that are essentially electric but use a generator to recharge batteries.

You’re the lego guy, right? Does no one see the irony in that and how the floor is being put together????

Ive had this method explained to me by a engineer once - he said its so they can determine differentiate substrates if they need to dig down to make repairs
