It took me six hours to install this damn recessed outlet. There was insulation and a horizontal stud in the wall I had to fish through.

Kiddos Cub Scout troop had the Pinewood Derby today.
They had a blast. Both of my kids won 3 out of their 4 races and got 2nd in the other. Finished 3rd and 4th overall out of 28 cars
Technically little brother had the faster car by about .05 seconds and would have taken 3rd overall, but since he’s not a member of the troop, he wasn’t in the “official results”. We won’t tell big brother that haha! Super proud of how much time and effort they put into the cars. We kept it simple and just polished the axles, covered everything in graphite, and put all the extra weight at the back. Good enough for a 2.485 second best run and 2.50x average for both cars. The didn’t want to see washers, so we hid them in the “spare tires”
I didn’t have time to make a dad car for the outlaw class this year, but next year they better watch out!
