Funny enough, that LEGO version costs as much as the real thing.
As someone who walks in and out of the Lego Store shaking my head at the prices, that's really not funny

Years ago the Lego store at Disney Springs had a fill a cup for $5 or something like that.I always got the side eye from the employee's cause I would take my time and strategically place the pieces in the cup to get the maximum amount possible.I guess Im part of the reason they quit doin that.As someone who walks in and out of the Lego Store shaking my head at the prices, that's really not funny![]()

They set the system up with certain rules. If you’re not breaking the rules that’s on them.Years ago the Lego store at Disney Springs had a fill a cup for $5 or something like that.I always got the side eye from the employee's cause I would take my time and strategically place the pieces in the cup to get the maximum amount possible.I guess Im part of the reason they quit doin that.
Found a FB group that had a gpx file for the “Uwharrie 100”. 100 mile loop with a good mix of blacktop and gravel. So I rode it today. Most of it I had never been on before. About 210 miles by the time I got back home.

Yeah my 8yr old is big into them and I feel this. All his birthday money will only *almost* get him a good set. I always bridge the gap but it sucks that they are so expensive. He's pretty good at them so the age appropriate ones are no challenge. He's building a 16+ international space station right nowLegos have gotten out of hand. As an avid collector, it's put a damper on the fun. $400 sets are becoming the norm now and I can't play that game. I'm filling the gap collecting minifigures now but that's even becoming ridiculous. If you want a special character from Star Wars, you're paying $70 for a $35 ship and some copy pasta storm troopers. #nerds
Next time you go to Disney or are in FL check for lego's on MP.A few years ago jake bought a ton of em and about filled his carry on bag w them.I think TSA was kinda suprised when they opened his back pack.Jake has been buying them locally off MP for pretty cheap.he got 3-4 1 gal freezer bags full for about $7 a bag BUT they are mixed Lego's w a figure or two in em.Legos have gotten out of hand. It won’t let me attach the gpx file here.Looks like a good time, share the GPX?

First time I had used a gpx file, so it’s probably something I’m doing wrong. if you have a suggestion let me know.
It's getting STOOPID! I get a 30% discount regularly, but right before Christmas they do 50% discount for employees. That's the only time I'll buy. My wife gets all butt hurt when I go to the park and don't bring home a set. Sorry Babe, Only went to the Admin Building and met with Tech Services Director. Knowing damn well I was at their Model shop across from the Store.Legos have gotten out of hand. Can I borrow your dogs? lol
You'd be better off throwing a coin in a well and wishing for a turn than using the handlebars I bet...
I hope they have cutting brakes!
