Man! That's raging.
Lake wateree is actually part of the Catawba river that flows out of NC and beyond so it'll only get worse.Man! That's raging.
Yeah, I have family that live on lake wateree. Their lot is pretty high, but imagine some folks are in trouble based off of that picture.Lake wateree is actually part of the Catawba river that flows out of NC and beyond so it'll only get worse.

Lake wateree dam this morning. The ole 90yo relic is holding up well.
That's lake wateree dam outside lugoff. That is Cedar Creek, right?
Given the number of tires there I'm gonna guess that's not someone's first set of krawlers?

Yep. About 4 miles up at the very bottom of the last island is where I've seen some massive massive fish. It goes from rocky beach at the base of the island (which is great to camp on) to 20+ ft deep holes and crevasses loaded with 50+ lb catfish, 3 lb brim and 30"+ stripers anytime they cut the water off.ok thats the lower end dam.
Ive fished the other side of it many times. Put in at the highway 1 bridge in lugoff and run up river for stripers.
People ask about my Wrangler.
