We talked to one of the service guys on the lakeside they were there pulling the generators because they couldn't keep the boxes pumped out. Not much to see up there except the tops of trees sticking out of the water. Deep river was as up as I have ever seen it around Carbonton.

This is the canoe landing on 421 in front of JR Moore's store. The handrail is to the first set of steps, then a boardwalk and then another set of steps before you get to the normal flow level.

Only time I've ever seen deep river near this high was right after Fran. I think it was 27' above normal then. Probably 20'+ now.
