Random pic thread.

You have real world experience and I can definitely appreciate the intel. I’m only imagining how much fun my kids would have getting picked up from school in one and taken out for ice cream. Oh, and if you haven’t been told lately, we appreciate your continued service. Keep doing what you do.

Save your pennies they will be available eventually. They will be pretty much gutted but all the crap they strip is irrelevant to just grocery getting anyway lol

They are fun to scoot around in for training cause a bad ride is better than a good walk anyday but they’re cramped, have terrible blind spots, are WAY loud for a “tactical” vehicle, the tires on em are crap (no traction) and don’t have enough armor. We got em for a trip to Afg and lost 13 in 2 weeks to IED’s. They got us MRAPS and we still walked everywhere cause they just made bigger IED’s. I will never get in one again if I have a say in it. Bad memories of those things.
I always hated riding in anything. Unless you’re gunning you can’t see crap and you have no situational awareness. I’d rather patrol on foot or ride the gun on a hmmv any day.

Sometimes you work the soles off your boots at 8:00 in the morning. Actually improved comfort level for my feet over the logger sole... And now they look like them high dollar hipster boots

Rocky Knob park in Boone. It's primarily for mountain bike trails that I've never ridden, but I went there on a whim so that Turd Ferguson could ride his balance bike, and turns out it's a really nice park for kids too!

That sure brings back memories of Polk.
Never had poison ivy in my life until I went to jrtc. I grew up in the woods all year long. Never so much a rash. Go to Polk and get some sort of kryptonite ivy and I’ve caught it ever since. Been snowed on, pissed on, and just down right miserable there. I have no good memories of that place.

I'm the same way.
I grew up camping with cousins all over my grandpa's orchards in VA.
I would cut down a dead tree for firewood and pull the vines off with my hands.

Now I can look at it and start itching.

"Drawings are diagrammatic. Field coordinate actual location with structure and other trades"
"cop-out statement" even I can smell the bullshit on that one!

Architect said to hold tight to the drawings, it was an up fit of a building there were already existing holes for all the condensate lines threw a 2’6” solid brick wall. We had a talk with the owner and over ruled the architect.
