I'm surprised you didn't get hauled out of there by Security snapping a picture into a changing room. Your own daughter or not, that's taking your life into your own hands.
It was actually empty at the time. The lady took the bundle of clothes from my wife and daughter and told me to come with her, there were chairs at the changing room. Unlocked a room, put her clothes in there and I waited there for another 10 minutes or until daughter came with another bundle to try on

If you ever get up towards Marion, let me know..... got a few groundhogs with your name on them.:sniper:

Hiring a mercenary is cool, but not nearly as exciting as grabbing the New England firearms youth model 20 gauge single shot that's propped up by the door and running out in your underwear to try and blast one before he runs under your barn.

We came up to our new place in Surry County this morning. Hard to believe it’s ours now. Been coming so long when our friends owned it that it already feels like home. 15 acres on a little mountain spur.

This is just past where our driveway splits from the neighbors drive and then on up the hill to the house. It’s steeper than it looks once past the creek.

6 screws would have probably been enough...

But at least I'm confident that the load is well distributed now.

The number of screws in a single board/foot is directly proportional to the inverse of carpentry skills represented...:p
Or inversely proportional to the quality of the pre-existing carpentry! :D

looks like you been reading CarlMarx again.

Nope ....... reading an article on the introduction of the new Suzuki to the Brit offroad community. :D

No shocker, 2/3 of the floor was rotten to the subfloor, so it all had to go

Then rebuilt Sunday. Apparently the original su floor was only 1/2 ply, no glue. Yick. So for it to line up i had to do 1/2 again, but screwed another 3/4 t&g on top, using the @jeepinmatt "cant have too many screws" method

Haven't used any screws yet today, just tape, square, pencil, and saw. First time I've ever made stair stringers. I think they turned out pretty decent.

At least you are working in the A/C. It has been miserable outside so far this weekend

Yea. I go in a lot watching these fires....

When the wind blows it feels great.

I started out w/ the window open and fan blowing out, so the dust wouldn't permeate through the house. Couldn't have it blowing in b/c it would just stir it all over the place.
Even being indoors, I was thankful as soon as I got past the dusty part and shut the window and cranked down the A/C.

My son was bored this weekend
