They're just trying to break into the existing Shandy market that's been around for many, many decades (when did Leinenkugel introduce theirs?).
Edit: 1920s if you believe what the Leinenkugel site says. Their Summer Shandy was released in 2007.

I'm not drinking anything containing Natty Light, but if it sells then what's the problem?

Actually, it probably makes Natty Light taste better, sooooo....
