She's been wanting smores for a month now...so we made a fire and pretended it wasn't 90 degrees outside today.

Found on sm465/205 combos in GM K-series for a few years. Speeds the speedo cable up 1.25x. Some slow it down. There are some you can change out the gears. My k5 is now reading 4 mph higher than it should at 45mph with 4.10s and 38.5 SXs, lol. It was reading 35 at 51 previous without a step-up adapter.
 
He might have ridden up here with us because he was at my house the day before.

I've seen more praying mantii in the past month than in the past 10 years. They must be having a good year.
 
He was on the temp power in marion today. Yesterday it was a snapping turtle the size of a silver dollar. Interesting job site, wonder what will show up next week

By brother in law's family went on vacation in the early 90's, and apparently their Christmas tree had mantis eggs on it. They had thousands of baby Mantises in their house when they came home. Most adorable insect infestation ever...

One year in SW Va we had a week where there were tens of thousands of fully grown Mantises (only one species, all almost identical 3-ish inch size) in a 2 acre area, part of which was a church parking lot. It was insane, and I've never seen anything like that anywhere in the 25 years since then. There were thousands of them crushed on the parking lot after Sunday service.

I've always been fascinated by mantises's and wolf spiders since I was a kid. Both will turn their heads and look at my eyes and face when I get close to them and gently catch them w my hands. I'm not sure if they see their reflection in my eyes or are just looking at the eyes looking back @ them. The tiny/baby mantises move and hunt just like the grown adults.
