I paid for it, probably too much on eBay. Very good condition though and works.

I have 6/8 of those, might not be the correct ratio though.

Edit; I think it’s tooth count instead of a ratio.

This one is 1.25x most on eBay overdrive it .98x or so. $60 is what I gave for it, broken ones are around $30.

And yeah there are the gear drives and the color coded speedo gears you can mix and match to dial in the speedo.

You mean I can’t find sm465/205 combos in good condition for $200 anymore? Or hydro clutch bellhousing, clutch master, hoses, and pedals for a square body for $200? All those parts are bring premium dollar right now. I almost feel like I could part my k5 out and make a more money than I’ve spent, then I wake up from that dream.

How much would people be willing to pay for new ones with a 3yr warranty?

Oh god see all I did was google the part number off the broken one I had to find one. Didn’t even look around to find a new one that I could change ratios or anything

I'm just asking because I could probably make those and make some money on em at $60. No idea if they are even available new. But at $60 for a used one, $80 should be a sellable price for a nice new one.

Googled, new I can find similar ones, not exactly those, for around $80-$90.

Few and far between. I don’t look at 10 spline 465’s anymore. The output shafts are all wore out.

how did you get the ring out??
I'm interested as well. Service manual says if the "annulus gear" is damaged, it's not serviceable and to replace the case front half - at least on the np241. I could see destructive removal working, but I'm not sure that would guarantee the new annulus gear not slipping after installation.. it's exposed to pretty high loads..

I’ve only heard of cutting the case half around it. You can’t just press it out

I thought maybe you had a trick that didn’t damage the case or cause third degree burns.I use a propane brush torch on the front half.Usually after a couple of mins of heat they’ll fall out.if not peck on it w a hammer or use welding gloves and drop it flat against a hard surface.Never installed one but I’d imagine you could heat the case and freeze the ring and it would fall right back in place.
