Cruising around next to The panthers GM this morning(???)

I had re corned and put some cut up apples on my new hunting spot 2.5 hrs. Before I was headed out and had bout 10 lbs of apples still on the bed of my truck. I think the deer had smelled them and was looking for them.I had the crossbow in my hand as I going out the door.....

I walked out and down the stairs, put the cb in the truck and grabbed a few apples.Went back up the stairs and cut them up and tossed them to the deer, there were 6 in the backyard and I took some pictures but they did'nt get saved for some reason.I was maki ng a short video and got a phone call, when I tried to cancel the call it erased everything but the pics i've posted.
I had 2 does all over the spot I was hunting but I was holding out for some antlers. Got 3 or 4 more days to hunt and next time I'm gonna take any grown deer I see. There's a mature doe that has a dark grey coat and her back is jet black. I should have some t cam pics soon. If i take her I'm gonna tan her hide and put it on the wall in my man cave.

My old roommate had a guy he worked with that did wildlife rehabilitation, his first year he kept a fawn to long and then let it go at his house. To hunt there you had to carry a can with dried corn in it, shake it when a doe came in. If she ran towards the stand you couldn’t shoot her.

After her he let them go younger and closer to where they came from.

Baby rat snake. Just trying to warm up a bit and find some food. It likely will not survive the winter by the looks of it unless it can eat.
