Random pic thread.

Our woodstove is my favorite part of the house. I use it all winter. The only thing I dont like is how small it is. 18" is about as long as I can cut wood, and it's not very deep.

Tile work is for the F ing birds. I want to invest as little as possible in this type of work, I’ll do as much as I can with that one grinder blade.

but I’m also saving myself $400 for this repair.

And since it already looks like someone completely hammered did the tile work, may as well complete the equation.

So @rcalexander105 bought a sweet slide in camper today. He requested the I deliver it to his house since he doesn’t have the anchors on his truck yet. So I piled in with the kids, scooped him up and we went went to get it.

When it came time for the bill of sale, no one had a pen... but wait, my daughter had a pen. A sweet flamingo pen!

Have you seen heater tubes in action?

I'm planning to build something similar next time I have free shop time. I have the materials and the blower, just haven't had the time. They have super mixed reviews on the interwebs so I'm not expecting too much.

Just use a set of long tube headers.

I honestly think @77GreenMachine had this planned out all along. In hindsight, I bet I could find a pen in that center console or elsewhere in his truck. Instead, he says "no, I have a note pad but no pen" and as his daughter offered hers up...his wheels were spinning and he couldn't get to that phone fast enough. Without hesitation I grabbed the pen and started writing as I see him, phone in hand, out of the corner of my eye. I curiously turned my head as he snapped this picture and then immediately took the phone down. It's at that moment I knew I had been gotten and it didn't take me much longer to figure out it would end up on here (I just underestimated how quickly). I had a TapaTalk alert by the time we were pulling out of their driveway...

That’s a nice damn truck camper! Nice find!

I should note that I also do not have the proper anchors on my truck, it really has more to do with the fact that Rods Radiator decided to give up the ghost recently in his Powerstroke. And I don’t really care about the HD ratchet straps rubbing the mint paint on my half million mile truck lol.

It is very nice! It’s really the perfect size too. Quite a bit bigger than mine, but not so big that it’s real heavy. According to the tag it was just shy of 1,900lbs dry. It didn’t feel heavy, and my truck handled great. It’s gonna be real nice when @rcalexander105 puts it on a gooseneck later!

Thought that was Christian Hazel from 4 Wheel and Off Road for a second

We had a set tossed in the woods behind the house. Dad replaced them with an insert. Less mess and sparks contained.
Good built unit with air gap and blower design can chug out some safe heat. Ashes contained and pretty little viewing window.
If it wasn't for the wife i'd have a free standing unit like a cabin style with cook pads right now.
