Dogs aren’t suppose to be on the couch at my GFs moms casa, but they always crawl into my lap and get away with it.

@SHINTON thought of your thread a while back as I read this.
"I'm partially impressed with the fact that pin was able to handle the stress of accelerating and braking"....

....he says while looking at the pin that is about 2.5 times the diameter of the 5/8 receiver pin on the truck.....

After seeing this across the interwebs the other day, I saw a 3500 dually ram pullong a 40ft conex this past week and it got me thinking. What exactly is the difference, legally? Presuming the 53' and the conex were both empty, they don't weigh that much relative to the towing capacity of the trucks. Was all the 53' driver doing wrong exceeding a length requirement or something relative to air brakes?

*The conex was on one of those special tilting, extra long 8 wheel gooseneck trailers.

Typical 53' dry van is ~14-15k lb. Not too much for a 3500 but not light, especially considering I doubt the brakes worked and that truck is nowhere near large enough

Yeah, but it's a dirtymax brah.

My favorite present.
A good friend has a hobby making knives.... Completely from scratch. Forges the steel, etc. Makes the handles from harvested local trees.
Does the stabilizing etc himself.
My wife had him make me this for kitchen use.

It's crazy sharp, and I know I'll probably use it for the rest of my life.

Super cool! I love a good kitchen knife, I received one last year.

Unrelated... Are you wearing mops on your feet?
they are slippers that are giant hairy monster feet. So... yeah... they pretty much end up being mops.

Christmas day tradition here is that nobody gets dressed, and we sit around and watch a whole series of movies in slippers & PJs. This year was all 4 live action Alvin & the Chipmunks.

Check you out!! We’ve had some of his stuff in the past but never that particular piece.we were buying to resell and there’s just no deal to be had on that one.

So true, believe me we've looked! I thought I'd found one maybe four years ago for sale through a local mom group but it was a knock off. I think it helps to know people in the business but the kids have already been told it's not for snacks or coloring.

It goes nicely with my $5 Saarinen table.
