Double trouble. They babbled at that dog statue for a solid 20 minutes.

Aw Snap! Wasn't me, just a co-worker. Last night called and ask me if I could bring the trak-hoe today? I asked if i could winch it with my Jeep, & if there were a tree I could anchor to. Told nope, no tree & he was too far off the road. Ok. This morning, he called & said the Boss was going to get a Tow Truck. I rode out to see anyway, as i was already in my CJ. No one there when I arrived. Bobcat in a bad spot, mucked up on a side hill & next to a retaining wall. After surveying for a bit, I saw I Could have anchored to the BIG tree, or even a small one, & still winched him out. It's not like I'd be pulling 10K - 12K pounds. He'd be helping, & not need a Lot of pull! Well, you know, the guys 1/2 my age know More than me, & have never seen a Jeep in action, or a winch! I don't need to trouble myself & get sticky shit mud on & under my Jeep. Let them call a Tow Truck!
[You know pictures > it's Way steeper, than it looks!]

A terrible tragedy has occurred today.
I borrowed a friends boat to take @Susan5679 and her new weapon to the range at LKN.
There was a massive explosion and the boat caught fire and sank.
Me and chicky baby swam to shore in the cold ass water and survived!

Alas, the weapon did not...

But you'll have that.

Damn that's a sketchy hill on a skid steer. He's lucky it stopped before the lake.

Looks like somewhere that should only be attempted with a "real" dozer with deep cleated steel tracks.

But i would try it with @braxton357 's skidsteer :D

He's between 2 walls. There's a wall on his right side [water side], that he is nearly into. I think he had enough sense to stop, before getting against it. I have no idea how strong the walls are. That's the same location I told my Boss, Not to send a dump truck back to! I took a load of Rip Rap there, about 6 months back. That section of back road, is gravel, & 10-20' wide, at various points. It was so Sketchy, I didn't want anyone to go back & haul whatever out! They hadn't started the house yet. I couldn't see How they could build on the original hillside! I guess we went in for some grading. LOL

This guy came in hot, hopping the curb with his right front tire as he made a left turn into the parking spot. He did get it stopped way before pulling all the way thru though. Out stepped a man who appeared to be 110 yrs old; no fawks were given as he nonchalantly walked past me, the shocked observer.
While I was processing this, I noticed the square tube 'sport bar' I guess you would call it, and knew I had to share with my friends on nc4x4. Out of respect for my elders, I'll post this here instead of the doosh thread.

^^^^^^ I was just listening to Johnny Paycheck's Colorado Kool-Aid when those pics scrolled up....looked like an ear to me. Perfect timing.

Well, he took him a big cold swallow of beer
And he walked over and spit in my Mexican friends ear
And sure enough that made my buddy real mad
That's somethin' like he ain't never had

Well, Sir, he pulled out a big, long switch blade knife
Quick as a whistle he began to slice
That big mean drunk stood back, his face full of tears
Lookin' down at the floor, an' one of his ears

Ha, he cut that thing off even with the sideburns
You might say the little Mexican fella, he just didn't give a darn
But he was a gentleman about it
An' bent over and with a half way grin

Picked it up and handed it back to him
He said, "Now big man, you get the urge to spit a little beer
"Just open up your hand there and spit it in your own ear
Won't be no trouble that way", that's what I heard him say

dammit they are pretty, where did you find/get them ?

My buddy’s wife is is from somewhere near Charleston and went home for Christmas. She has a friend who’s husband has the hookup. No idea where they came from exactly but were some of the best local selects I’ve had.

These popped up on my mammeries on Facebook. Can’t remember where the first one was, but I wanna say Arizona coming down the pass to California
