Just your average heater core/blend door repair. No plastic clips/snaps were harmed in making this picture. 2009 Lincoln MKX, blend doors audibly seem to be in one piece, so I'm thinking the heater core is partially clogged, heat on one side but not the other. (Makes sense, lines come in on passenger side & dual air, drivers side would clog first, being further from the inlet/outlet in a regular heater core (tube & fin))

My MKx is doing the hot/cold left/right thing. Reading online, it seems that folks are having luck just unplugging the blend door control and back in. Resets it. Going to get around to trying it soon. Hopefully avoid full surgery

i can replace the actuator in under an hour. It's tedious but do able. Also you can reset it from the heater control. I'll look up how if you want.
