Was salting a parking lot with a 10' v-plow on the front and a salt spreader with 2 tons on salt in it and forgot to take it out of 4wd.

Found this while starting on my old farmhouse renovation. I didn't have a chance to get a pic of the 1" rock that was plugging a hole in the tongue and groove soffit

Friend came over to my house yesterday complaining about his rear 10 bolt making noise. I went to pull the diff cover off to inspect, and in a 7 mile drive distance from his house to mine, the axle got so hot it gave me second degree burns just taking the cover off. Let it cool for a few and read 158*.
