Needed to unload those boards from the truck with the skidsteer, and I had a few attachment mods I’d been putting off, so today was the day.

My stump grinder only came with the guard/deflector on one side, which made it nearly impossible to hook up to since it was always leaning. I added the smaller deflector a while back, but it was so narrow it would still sink into the dirt and make it sit crooked. Also, both pieces were bented and dented. So I straightened them up and added this piece of 1/4” angle which will help stiffen things upon and prevent it from sinking in, plus act as a push bar to spread grindings/chips.

Once I had it off the machine, I popped the forks on and moved the to the “working position” :D

Then added 2 pieces of plate so the ears of my quick change wouldn’t slide in below the top bar.

I swear, I keep it up with this new welder and people might get the wrong impression and start thinking I know what I’m doing :laughing:

Our solution is just to let em roam. Our "coop" could house 30 or so but the run is setup to be a safe haven, not a prison.
