Big red moon rising the other night

I went to Myrtle Beach for the weekend to visit some cousins. My dad grew up in Conway, until he left for the Army in 1944.

Conway has really done a good job on their riverwalk along the Waccamaw.

If you get a chance to go back to Conway around Halloween, they really know how to decorate the town. Skeletons crawling up the town water tower was my favorite. I hear they do a good job at christmas too, but haven’t been for that.

Ocean Lakes all month! Folks rent out entire sections and get together to decorate. To the tune of folks bringing enclosed trailers down packed with spooky stuff. Trick or Treat nights and lots of kid activities. One year a family was dressed as the Adams holding a small concert and slinging candy from the roof of the RV!
 
Scored 2 sets of early square body low back bucket seats and center consoles along with some steel wheels and center caps while on vacation. Unfortunately we are pulling the camper and the golf cart rides in the bed of the truck so looks like I'll be cleaning stuff up and placing it as safe as possible inside the camper. Luckily dude was a great guy and dismounted all the tires for me. Got a great woman that helped unbolt everything and didn't give me too bad of a look when she asked where I planned to store everything for the ride home. Right now our campsite just looks like a scene from Sanford and sons.

We have been going to Carolina pines. Now sun outdoors. For several years, people go all out. They even hire a crew to come in with a funeral hearse and have guys jump out with chainsaws chasing through sites. Already book our sites for this year
