Random pic thread.

What upgrades? Asking for me!

Randy's stage 2, thermal bypass, and mishimoto transcooler, although I would have went with Randy's/Fluidyne on that too. They hadn't released it when I bough the mishimoto.

So given the thermal bypass didn’t start till ‘13 and my wife’s is a ‘12 and mine is ‘11 is the bypass the barrier or is it the cooler?

I'd say cooler, especially on the early fourth gens as it is smaller than the later ones. My understanding is the stock thermostat unit can fail and prevent fluid from going to the cooler at all, so the bypass replaces it preventing problems. But I have seen several reports that installing it lowered temps as well. I did everything at the same time, so I can't report on how each one affected temps individually. IMO any upgrade to the cooling system, including increasing fluid capacity with a deep pan, is beneficial.

I wish my kids would pass the time like this. This belongs in the proud parent thread. Mine yell insults at each other from across the room and complain that there’s nothing good to eat. 🤣
Oh mine were doing that earlier in the day.

To their credit though the insults are in good humor, not spite
But the complaints about nothing to eat are a daily occurrence

60k mile service yesterday and saw this on the lot. Nice Godzilla 250 with the STX package. Love the color. But not enough to extend my current obligations. $64,655 sticker.

This is why I have always refrained from tunning my 24 valve.
Same here. My 01 Ram CTD is 100% stock. I use to catch a lot of flack for not putting a tuner on it, but I never wanted to risk the potential high repair bills/ required tranny/clutch upgrades. It works fine stock for me. 25 yrs and 240k miles later it has served me well.

My boys just play rock em sock em robots, without the robots. They both walk around with constant bruises and black eyes.
