Random things about yourself nobody knows

I got another one. I'm bout as white redneck as they come. Dip my snuff & fly my rebel colors. I'm married to a white yankee & I dated 2 different black girls in my early 20s & don't see a thing wrong with it.
Just because we don't want to go to school with them doesn't mean we won't fuck the pretty ones.

Here is another interesting one. I was suppose to be the first legal abortion performed in NC. My mom's appendix ruptured during her 2nd trimester. The Dr told them she was gonna loose me anyway. My dad told him to remove mom's appendex & if he touched that baby he was a dead man. I was born healthy a month past due date!

When I was little I put 2 straws in my Pepsi and then put one in each nostril and sniffed real hard. I about choked to death. All Mom did was laugh at me. She still picks on me about it.

I wanted to become a Game Warden and did 1 of 2 years of fish and wildlife management classes at WCC after leaving Highschool. I dropped out after learning N.C. had a long list of applicants w 4 year degrees and better wanting the jobs and I might wait 10+ yrs to get one here.

I recently worked an art fund raiser for the local school system. While I was there the Lifetime channel was there covering some story about a young banjo player and her band. I had a chance to talk with the producer and asked if they were going to make anymore movies about women getting beaten by their husbands only to turn around and kill/beat the men the end because you know, nobody gets tired of those type movies. I got a strange look and a walk-away. pfft bitches.

I played on a Pop Warner football team w Lou Holts's sons Skip and Kevin and he occasionally helped coach it too. I dated Bo Reins daughter in High School and bagged Jim Valvanos groceries and ran defense for him while he shopped so he would'nt get mobbed by the other customers wanting to talk to him and get his autograph.

Damn ... you to! The last house we almost bought the guy had just recently died at (fell off ladder painting house) and our real estate agents son was killed in a car crash day after we made offer.... we took it as a sign and redacted our offer....

I read these post and realize I'm not as f#@ked up as I thought I was.... Now I can drink less....

Is the ghost thing good or bad? It's certainly interesting!

OK, at the risk of sounding like a complete crazy.....here it is. I don't share this very often because it is weird and I do sound crazy.

We moved in to our house about 8 years ago. About 7 years ago I started hearing/seeing things in the house. It began with seeing things. Never could make out what it was, but it was some kind of white flowing aparition that would catch my eye but never could get a good look at it. It would move down the hallway or across the doorway of the dining room while I was looking. Freaked me out but I just chalked it up to reflections off the road behind the house. Then it started calling my name. The first time I was standing in the dining room and heard a woman's voice behind me yell out "Bryan!" so I turned around thinking it was my wife. It wasn't. The next time I was in the living room and heard it coming in from the dining room, another woman's voice calling my name. Again I assumed it was my wife so I figured she has just gotten home and I walked over to the front door just in time to see her driving down the road and pulling into the driveway. Fucking weird, that really made me wonder if my head was messed up. The next time I was talking to a buddy on the phone upstairs and heard a voice calling me from downstairs. Again thought it was my wife and told my buddy to hold on and yelled out "hold on, on the phone with Chris!" and kept talking. Well, about 15 minutes later my wife got home from work.

I laughed about it and figured hey, if this ghost just floats around nicely calling out my name, whatever. No problem. Then one night I was down working in the garage and I heard a scream. Like a blood curtling, someone just died and I found the body type scream. Our son was about a year and a half years old at that point and was sleeping in bed so I thought my wife found him dead. I tore upstairs and she was just sitting there reading a book. She said I was completely white and looked more terrified than she has ever seen me.

I will also add that my son had never slept a complete night up to this point. Every night, at least twice a night he would wake up screaming and we would have to go in there and get him back to bed. Every night, without fail.

Well, my wife was telling a friend at work what happened and she mentioned that a lady that worked there helped out with ghost issues. I know you are thinking  but these are educated professionals and she didn't go around advertising this. Kind of like the movie Hitch, only those who need to know knew.

She comes over and does her thing, tells the ghost that it is time to go with God, etc. I all of a sudden feel like I am getting a big bear hug, something is squeezing me from behind and then all of a sudden it is gone. I looked up and said "I think it is gone!" and immediately we heard my son yell out from upstairs. We ran up there and he was awake so we laid him back down.

He slept through the night that night and has almost every night since, and that was like 4 years ago. No more voices, no more seeing things.

So yeah, you may think I am crazy, but that is my story and I have a sane witness.

oh man, I totally believe it....I have had some things like that happen to me....although I wouldn't be as calm and would have moved out...after the second time it happened.

When we were looking at houses, we made an offer on one we liked. We had seen it once at night and it was kinda creepy. We gave it another chance during the day and fell in love. We had to enter through the unlocked basement because the door key didn't work. Anyway, we made an offer. Next day, my wife finds out from someone who lives in the neighborhood that the owner's husband had hung himself in the basement 8 months before. No one had lived in the house since. Wife asks me if this bothered me enough to retract our offer. I say "The big question is if it bothers YOU enough." She said "no" and we bought the house. While I was prepping it for moving in, I had a little "talk" with Gary, the PO, and told him we planned to take care of the place. He didn't need to worry about us, and please leave us alone. I'm not a big believer in ghosts, but I just felt the need. Anyway, we've been in the house for 10 years now, and the only haunts we have are the ghosts of bad repairs past! Bear in mind, if you're looking at an old house, the chances are good that somebody died in the house or on the property. You shouldn't let that make your decision for you. It's just the facts of life. We don't walk out into the woods or rush to the hospital to die all the time. Sometimes it just happens where we are. I know I'd rather die in the comfort of my own home.
