Just watched E.T. with the kids and it was a great illustration of a valuable lesson:
Never trust the government. ET was fine until they showed up, they sucked the life out of him, and as soon as they left him alone, he came back to life.

I mean....isn't that what we ALL learned from that movie as kids

Maybe? I guess my perspective was very different 35–40 years ago. The BMX bike chase scene was still epic though!
