Renting equipment...

I'm pretty sure that's just an implied action with him.
Yes, we've refrained from mentioning the implied outcome for some time now to try and throw off the NSA/FBI/alphabet soup agencies reading the open forums for plausible deniability should something happen publicly :huggy:

The whole fire thing has crossed my mind for a large portion of the property.... I hate wisteria....

I bought a wand that attaches to a propane tank. Sounds like a jet engine when lit. And the looks from neighbors is priceless. But nothing eliminates the weeds that grow in the cracks of the concrete curb and asphalt road like that wand. Makes you want to set the world on fire

Yep, used my weed burner Saturday on a mix of weeds around my pond outflow. Left eye been swolled up for 2 days. Chat with doc this a.m., as I guessed, an allergic reaction to something. Benedryl, cold compresses, and rest until it goes down.

Those are also excellent to start a good fire! They’ll get some logs rolling in just a few minutes

Link? I have sudden need for this.

^^^ that looks like the same one I have. My old one (loaned out and never returned) had a pilot flame. Let off the lever, and it kept a small torch flame burning. New one goes out if you release the lever, and you have to re-spark every time (with a flint striker).

Make your life easier and buy an extension hose for it. I think mine is 15' (plus the 10' on the torch). Don't have to move the tank around as much.

So aside from the absolute fun factor, which is definitely valuable, whats the advantage of this vs weed killer, which (supposedly) prevents anything else from coming back too?

Dogs in the yard/no chemicals

I've fought this "crack" which runs all along my front and side of my lot, as I'm on a corner lot.

I've used:

Weedeater (weekly)
Grass Killer (works for 3 weeks)
Gasoline (works the longest but smells bad and neighbors call DENR and all hell breaks loose)
Torch (works for 3 or so weeks)

Torch is the most fun and scares the old farts cruising in golf karts being all nosy

You just need a little Pramitol down that crack. Nothing will grow for a year.

Ok so the fence got a band aid and seems to be holding atm. My Mother in Law bought a house here in Camden so attention got diverted. There was an old ratting down shed that needed removal. At some point whoever decided to pour a concrete floor. The basically put a barrier at the door and used the wall footers which are creosote beams. We took down the building and I salvaged the tine roof panels.

We took 3 loads to the dump of rotting wood and insulation.

So now this weekend I get to break up the concrete floor. It is no where near solid and has root damage. So the place I was going to rent from did not have availability for this weekend. Found another place in Lugoff. CCE apparently out of Waxhaw, NC. I'll be getting a EZ28

Tracked Zero Tail Excavators $250 for the weekend anything over 8 hours gets a second day rental after 12 hours is what I was told. Unfortunately I have to get a trailer too and they don't include that. $75 for the weekend. So comparable prices to the other place at $325 for the first 8 hours anything after that is $250 per day. I'm also renting a jack hammer for $65. Should be an interesting weekend. If I get the floor knocked out on Saturday I will be taking out as many privit as I can on Sunday at the house.....

You shoulda rented the excavator BEFORE tearing the building down ;)

Why the jeep did just fine..... ;) I'd post a couple video's but I don't know how.
Sure, but the jeep doesn't load it in the truck and trailer with the push of a lever ;)

That is what son's and step son's and friends of sons are for. Only cost me a good lunch and beer at the local wing shack...

Got a lot done today.
