not true... it's a common myth that black spots mean a dog has chow in it. spots are simply extra pigment, nothing more.

Good to see those toys in the background, otherwise that table would probably be lopsided! Cute dog!

You are correct, Sir! I think almost any breed can have black spots. Chows and Sharpeis are the only ones that can have solid purple tongues.

Pretty pup, 91yota. I am partial to the black dawgs. ;)

on my brother in laws land he always tells us to shoot any dog that isnt his because they chase all the deer and other game off.

Doing as your Brother n law says could land you in jail. There are proper channels, shooting them is not one of them.

Here are my pets. We adopted them at the animal shelter. Very cool cats. Boo & sheba!

I missed this earlier... WTF?! Are these stray dogs? Neighbors' pets? Your brother-in-law needs a dose of humanity! It's not like they're wolves after his livestock or his livelihood, we're talking about deer and some birds?

And what does he do AFTER he shoots them? Leave them out there for the crows and ants to clean up? NOT a good idea!

we have a similar thing- shoot all the wild dogs. Were not talking about "any dog thats not his" You dont shoot anything that has a collar, looks domestic/owned, or a good hunting dog that wonders up. We do however get rid of the coyote's/wolfbreeds/and any of the mangy strays that have gone wild. Those dogs not only kill off hunting game but they are dangerous. Half-breeds that have become wild regularly will attack people at camps on hunting leases. Ive got some pet dogs and would never kill a dog just for sport but there are some that need to go.

and by the way thats true if you bust a dog that someone else owned and thats only a slim chance. More likely you just have to deal with an anrgy owner. If you go to any big hunting counties like where my hunting lease is you'll find that the game wardens appreciate you getting rid of the wild-mangy ones i was talking about and there is no law against it. In a legal viewpoint, If your dog walked onto my property at my hunting lease, collar or not, i have every right to shoot it dead. once someones dog leaves their property or "tresspasses" then it is no longer protected by the law. Paople need to keep track of their dogs better if its a good, healthy pet.

I had a black Lab Sheppard mix that was rescued, I currently have a redtick coon hound that i rescued (i will give this one away if anyone is interested), I curently have a Jack Russel Terror oops I mean terrier.

The redtick does not hunt and needs to be taken to a vet for a good check up. I just do not have the time and money to do it thats why I am trying to give her to a good home. She is the sweetest dog you will ever see. She loves to play and loves kids.

Funny how "Miller" is sitting on the couch.. my black lab was always weird about sitting.. he would almost.. slime..if you will off a couch..head..paws, body, butt.. lazy ass..lol.

Here's our female Jack Russell "Scooter." I've always been a person that likes big dogs, but she really has the temperment of a lab or something in a smaller package. She's about a year and half and truely is a joy to be around.

And here is Dixie the cat. She is scooters favorite chew toy, and is the most patient cat i have ever seen. About 2 years old.

of course i mean Layla :D

I'm pretty sure that's Josh's imaginary girlfriend. He found her photo on teh intarweb somewhere, and he's been showing those pictures off ever since.

It's either that, or he keeps her under lock and key.... because every time the fawker shows up at my house, he's dragging along some hoodlum friend. :flipoff2:
