We decided a long time ago to hide how many posts everybody has made. You can still find it here and there if you look, but it's not right next to your name in every thread like a lot of other places.

That didn't stop the admins from occasionally looking in on the back end to see who was in the top few slots. Rich owned #1 pretty much from the time we restarted the board in 2005. There was a little while there when it looked like this guy named Ricky might catch him by making 15 posts a day about his Z-71, but he never actually caught up.

Well, Rich has gotten quiet lately, and doesn't post as much as he used to. He and I were trading messages the other day, and I got to wondering if anybody ever caught up with him. Turns out, three people already have.

So here are the top ten, all-time highest post counts:

#10: Ricky B - 6128
#9: Jeff B -6148
#8: yager - 6716
#7: Dylan W - 7295
#6: rockcity - 7716
#5: Reid - 8152
#4: Rich - 8155
#3: upnover - 8518
#2: Ron - 8552

And #1... with 10,060 posts... a lead of 1,508 over second place..... RatLabGuy

Congrats, Dave!

Where'd you see that you only have 1k?

You should actually be #11, with about 6k posts. I'm #12, with about the same

I think I'm shooting for the lowest.
(for those that were around when post count was reset)

Cue Dave going cold turkey in 3, 2, 1....

If you've got less than 1k posts, you can search for all posts by you, and it'll tell you. It won't return more than 1k results, though.

Not sure where Gubni found his post count, but he's pretty close. I think he's actually in the top 20. It drops off pretty fast after the first ~30 places, then goes on forever with folks around 1500-800 posts.

lol..the highest post count is from the guy who doesnt even live in NC.

Thanks Dave for contributing to big government wasting time and money, this ones for you:beer::flipoff2:

Means he works for the government and has lots of time to waste....
Nailed.

if it makes you feel any better, I'm not paid hourly... and average alot more than 40 hrs.

glad to do it. These DoD contractors have been way to efficient lately.

i was wondering when somebody was going to point that out.
Note, I DID live in NC a long time... although it's been a couple of years now.

Honestly I just haven't found another regional board as useful as this one. Besides the awesome people, the size, and more importantly the post turnover rate is perfect. You can post a tech problem of almost any kind, and have a response within hours, sometimes minutes, and a full thread discussion in a day or less sometimes. By people who actually know what they are talking about AND aren't assholes.
The smaller "local to me" boards are great b/c they are my club and the guys I wheel with, but a small crowd... if its tech, can be days between replies and a crapshoot whether somebody is familiar w/ the problem.

I liek regional (vs topical) boards b/c it seems that people are friendlier... I'm guessing that's b/c its more likely they actually see/hang out w/ one another? Everybody knows PBB is the place for great tech but the attitudes just aren't for me.

Another forum I am on... BS/chitchat board posts are not included in your post count, only tech boards. Helps id the 'real' contributors to the site.

hahaha. What a thread! Im not quite sure how to feel about this.
Only been in one online argument this entire time. Someone flamed me for talking about making my sks into full auto.

Of course I am NOT counting the 3,578 short jokes/comments as flaming either.
Seems like I ACTUALLY know half of the folks here personally.

Actually #1 and #2 don't live in NC...

so,.....
That makes me the number one post whore of NC!
Being a moderator really adds up the numbers I suppose. Add that to the fact that I am part of and involved with the three biggest wheelin related clubs in NC sure adds to the numbers too.
The there is the fact that I work weird hours and my sleep is always screwed up, so I am on here a lot. It would probably be higher count if I didn't have to wait so many mornings at 4:00 am for the maintenance to be done LOL

I don't have any other boards that I post on, just this one, so all my typing pretty much is done here.

This is home to me. Thanks to those who contribute!

i think most of my posts came from the light bulb thread...there has to be a good couple thousand in there!

LMAO... do I need to back it up some? Run it at 3:30AM?

Anybody from the 2005 restart have less than my 582 (now 583) post count? I maybe the winner in that category.
